At Beacon Transitions, we offer a structured four-phase program designed to empower our clients toward independent living. Beginning in Phase 1, clients reside in a communal living residential setting where they receive intensive support and guidance. Phase 2 advances to our simulated apartments on-site, providing a safety net while clients gain greater autonomy. In Phase 3, clients transition to off-campus support living in nearby communities such as Asheville or Hendersonville, maintaining access to essential services. Phase 4 offers customizable aftercare services tailored to individual needs, ensuring ongoing support and success beyond the structured phases.
Phase 1 at Beacon Transitions introduces clients to our communal living residential setting. Clients reside in our main house, benefiting from structured support and supervision. This phase focuses on foundational skills such as medication compliance, transportation assistance, engagement in structured program activities including health and wellness routines, personal cleanliness, room maintenance, and communal meals. Each client enjoys the privacy of their own room and receives personalized support for their specific needs.
Clients progress to Phase 2 after a minimum of 6 months in Phase 1. This phase simulates independent living in individual apartments located on our campus. Clients in Phase 2 are encouraged to maintain steady employment and demonstrate self-administration of medications if applicable. They also start accruing savings as they take on more responsibility, including managing grocery shopping and utilizing personal vehicles for transportation. Clinical services continue, encompassing both group and individual therapy sessions, to support ongoing personal growth and development.
Phase 3 marks the transition to off-campus support living in surrounding communities like Asheville or Hendersonville. Clients in Phase 3 have demonstrated the ability to live independently with minimal support. They continue to receive essential services from our team, including one-on-one sessions, coaching, job-site support as needed, and regular wellness checks. This phase emphasizes maintaining independence while ensuring clients have access to the necessary resources to thrive in their new living environment.
Phase 4 offers customizable aftercare services tailored to individual needs. This phase is designed to provide ongoing support and assistance beyond the structured phases. Clients in Phase 4 can access services on an ala carte basis, addressing specific areas where additional support may be needed. Whether it's career guidance, financial planning, or ongoing medication or money management support, Phase 4 ensures that clients have the resources and assistance to maintain their independence and continued success in the community.
