Key Cook

Key is a Case Manager at Beacon Transitions. His background in helping people with learning differences, including Autism Spectrum (ASD), began in High School. Since then, Key has worked in wilderness therapy, community-based therapy, and residential settings.  

The part of this job Key finds the most rewarding is helping Residents tap into the limitless potential they possess by role modeling the use of tools and soft skills that allow them to take greater agency over their own goals. Key’s Strengths lie in forming strong, healthy relationships with residents and their families, while taking a person-centered approach to working with each Student to learn independent living skills.

Key is originally from Madison, Wisconsin and is a die-hard Cheesehead. He is a huge fan of all sports Wisconsin. Go Pack Go!
