drew valladares

  Drew has been working with individuals with ASD since 2019. Prior to joining Beacon, he worked as a Direct Care Counselor, Logistics Supervisor and Program Supervisor at Talisman Programs, now Talisman Summer Camp. Drew discovered his love for working with these individuals after coming to Talisman as a client, completing its Leadership and Krewe Programs before eventually becoming a Staff Member. The time spent in this program discovered Drew’s love for supporting the Autism community with a focus on building vocational and social skills through role modeling, hands on teaching and shared experience. 

Drew also has experience in a variety of different jobs: working in several gyms as a morning manager, Home Depot as an order fulfillment associate and Amazon Logistics as a Driver/Dispatcher. He brings these experiences to his clients and shares the philosophy of “There is a ton of jobs out in the world and there is a perfect one for everyone!” 

Outside of Beacon, Drew’s interest are hiking, canoeing, bouldering as well as a love for video games and anything to do with his beloved Baltimore sports teams. Drew is from the Garden State of New Jersey and is always up to defend what he calls “a pretty okay place to grow up”  Drew is a lover of all things music and can get on board with any genre at any time.
