Devin joined Beacon Transitions in July 2026. He brings previous experience supporting adolescents and young adults in residential mental health and supportive living environments, with experience spanning foster care programs to a residential boarding school.
Devin has training in verbal de-escalation and crisis prevention strategies, including Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), as well as additional approaches focused on effective communication, relationship-building, and resident support. At Beacon, he brings these skills to his work supporting young adults with autism (ASD) and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) as they build greater independence, life skills, self-management, and confidence in their daily lives.
Devin is currently a senior studying Psychology and is also an avid musician. He especially enjoys connecting with residents through conversation and shared activities, and he is always happy to engage around anything music-related.
