Brendan joined Beacon in January 2025. He’s been involved in direct care for a while with over 2 years of experience as a field guide in wilderness therapy. In that setting, he worked with a variety of clients focusing on both teenage boys on the Autism Spectrum as well as young adults navigating life skills and transitions into adulthood. He focused mentorship on building awareness around behaviors as well as underlying beliefs, encouraging and coaching healthy habits, and the practice of emotional regulation.
Brendan has been engaged with the work of self-actualization for as long as he can remember. He has a degree in environmental science and enjoys a variety of outdoor activities - particularly backpacking, camping, and rock climbing. In his free time he likes to go for runs or enjoy a nice book.
