Alex Beacham

Alex has been working in the Behavioral Health Treatment field for over five years. Prior to joining Beacon, Alex was a Senior Level Field staff at a Therapeutic Wilderness program in North Georgia. Alex has also worked as a Park Ranger, Wildlands Firefighter & First Responder, General Contractor and Electrician.

Alex studied computer science and fine arts, and enjoys working on art projects in his spare time. Alex is passionate about teaching, guiding, sharing wisdom, and bringing a compassionate, relations-based approach to his work. 

Alex’s background in Wilderness First Response and Firefighting lends themselves to a safety-conscious approach in his management of Beacon’s Adventure Programming.  Living by the mantra “Wherever you go that's where you are - so make sure you're prepared” Alex plays a crucial role in developing our Experiential Education curriculum.
